Description of event

Lobsang Jampa, a 23-year-old and the village head of Dhakpakha Village in Karze County, was arrested for participating in the demonstration in Karze on 26 October 1999. He was subsequently sentenced to one and a half years’ imprisonment and detained at Menyang Prison.
