Tsering Dhondup was imprisoned for three years following his detention in February 2010, for criticizing Chinese government policies in Tibet. He passed away in September 2021 in Sichuan’s capital Chengdu after suffering ill health for eight years following his release. Belongs to Rongtha Monastery
