Description of event

On January 14 ; 2013 ; officials in Lhasa summoned Ngawang and 13 other senior monastic officials and teachers from four premier Buddhist institutions to a "special meeting." Authorities allegedly "detained them and took them to a monastery identified as "Penkar" located in Nagchu Prefecture to undergo "political reeducaton"
