Description of event

Goeya Tsewang, a 61-year-old resident of Domo County, worked as an accountant and manager at Shol Thongye Nyamle, a cooperative production unit. He visited India in 1985 and again in 1992. On 16 June 1995, he was arrested on allegations of espionage and detained at Seitru Detention Centre. During his detention, he was reportedly subjected to repeated interrogations in connection with the charges against him.
