Description of event

Talu Wangyal was a 25 years old farmer from Shusaer Village in Kardze County. he was arrested on 31 October, 1999 in connection with the Kardze protest.

Following his detention, he was sentenced to two and half years imprisonment and served his term in Menyang Prison, Sichuan province.
