Description of event

He staged a solo political protest in the crowded market area of the seat of Ganzi (Kardze) county. He shouted slogans calling for “Free Tibet” and a long life for the Dalai Lama ; and tossed leaflets and slips of paper with prayers printed on them into the air. Witnesses said police “pounced” on him and beat him before they took him away. Belongs to Dontag Monastery
