Description of event

Ngawang Kyizom was born at Rutok in Meldrogongar county in 1971. She was an unregistered nun at the time of her arrest on 14 September 1990. She was taken to Gutsa prison after taking part in a demonstration on the day of her arrest. She suffered severe torture in prison.
