Description of event

Lobsang Ngodup shouted slogans calling for Tibetan independence and the Dalai Lama’s return as he distributed leaflets advocating for “an end to Chinese rule in Tibet ; ”Police allegedly beat Lobsang Ngodup until he lost consciousness then took him to the Ganzi County Public Security Bureau Detention Center.
