Description of event

He staged an early-morning protest amidst a large number of Tibetan Buddhists gathered in the Ganzi county seat. Ngawang Lobsang tossed leaflets into the air advocating freedom in Tibet and shouted slogans calling for the Dalai Lama’s long life and return to Tibet. After drawing the crowd’s attention ; he dropped to his knees ; held his hands in a prayerful manner ; and continued calling for the Dalai Lama’s long life for a few minutes.
