On October 19 ; more than 100 villagers reportedly converged on the Sangchu government office to to protest the detention of Tenzin Rangdol. On October 20 ; police and PAP detained 10 protesters and ; including kalsang Namdol ; who may have been subsequently released. Protesters called on officials to stop labeling them as "splittists ; " and said "the unjust legal system and authoritarian abuse of power" promoted separatism.
